STAGE 3

Milestones 10 - 13

You’re really finding your feet and you’re showing up more consistently on Instagram. It’s time to build on this momentum by developing your practice of content creation and connection through mastering some of the video features on Instagram.

 

Courage is the virtue that is most required at this Stage, as you begin to embrace video and speaking direct-to-camera. Learning new skills takes time but with practice (persistent consistency) you’ll find that content creation becomes quicker and greater proficiency makes it fun.

In this Stage it's easy to get caught up in validating yourself/business on how many followers you have and how many likes/views you get, but you're still in a stage of learning what content works best for your audience and your confidence is still developing. What's most important here is your courage to keep showing up with consistency.

MILESTONE 10

You are sharing intentional Instagram Stories 3-7 days a week.


To meet this milestone, you must complete all action items listed below:


  • Watch the lesson 'Instagram Stories Strategy with Instagram Stories Weekly Planner' and create your 7 day Instagram Stories Content Plan. Post your plan inside our Member's Facebook Group so that we can see you’ve done this homework.

  • Create sets of Hero Highlights (About Me/Us, FAQs, Blog/Podcast, Shop/Programs, Testimonials/Reviews, Behind The Scenes). You may wish to design your own custom branded Highlights covers or use our 'Instagram Highlights' covers. To create Highlights you need to publish a set of Stories first and then add them to your Highlights.

  • You are now ready to start actioning our IG Stories prompts on our 'Monthly Instagram Strategy Calendar', in addition to posts.




  • MILESTONE 11

    You are able to create Reels and share at least one per week.


    To meet this milestone, you must complete all action items listed below:


  • Complete the 'Five Days Of Reels Challenge'.

  • Begin actioning Reels prompts on our 'Monthly Instagram Content Strategy Calendar', in addition to Stories and Posts.

  • Track your performance by downloading 'Your Instagram Performance Blueprint: Stories & Reels Metrics for Success'.




  • MILESTONE 12

    You use hashtags and Instagram Insights to grow your audience and boost engagement.


    To meet this milestone, you must complete all action items listed below:


  • Watch 'Hashtag Fundamentals' and list 30 hashtags that will put you in front of your audience.

  • Watch 'Instagram Insights Made Easy'.

  • If you’ve already done more than 60 posts on Instagram, follow these steps to uncover your top performing posts:
    • 1. Select menu on your IG profile.
      2. Select Insights.
      3. Select 'Posts' under 'Content You Shared'.
      4. Select 'See All' under 'Feed Posts'.
      5. Filter your results using the drop down menu by selecting ‘likes’.
      Now Analyse for trends in your content - What are the top 3-5 types of content that your audience is most responsive to? Visually - Is it photos of yourself? Family photos? Product shots of a particular kind? Landscape scenes? Text graphics or memes? Video? Write any observations down. You need to start doing these types of posts with greater consistency. When it comes to the captions of these posts, are there themes or commonalities in the topics or structure? Pay attention to the captions that performed best. Do more of these.
  • Watch 'Uncovering Your IG Content Strategy'. In this training Tracy goes through her TEACH, SHARE, SHOW framework for creating Instagram content around your brand’s content pillars. She also shares how to drive traffic to your website through these styles of posts. Brainstorm a list of what you could TEACH, SHARE, SHOW in future content. Share a photo of your list in the Member's Facebook Group.




  • MILESTONE 13

    You have decided whether or not to create a Facebook Group for your business.


    To meet this milestone, you must complete all action items listed below:


  • Watch the 'Facebook Groups Q&A'.

  • Start a free Facebook Group (if including one in your digital strategy) and invite your IG audience to join.

  • Watch the 'Facebook Group Mini Course with Rachel Miller' resource.
